Women in Retail Media has launched a free-to-enter awards event aimed at celebrating the standout women within the retail media industry, as well as those who support and advocate for them.
Taking place in London on 6 November 2025, the event – presented by Epsilon – will feature five awards: Trailblazer of the Year, Rising Star Award, Creative Excellence Award, Tech & Data Pioneer, and Ally of the Year.
Those shortlisted for each award will be decided by a public vote, before an expert judging panel selects the overall winner.
Nominations are due to close on 16 September, with voting open from 17 September until 1 October, and judges’ deliberations taking place in early October.
Anybody can nominate either themselves or their colleagues via a form which requires a 150-word elevator pitch, 500-word overview of key achievements and recognition, and 300 words of evidence and metrics to support those achievements.
The awards are open to all women, including trans women, as well as non-binary people. The ally award is open to everybody, including men. Although the awards night is being held in London, nominations can be made globally.
Additional event partners include Stonegate Group, Nectar360, Mirakl Ads, Grey Matter Recruitment, and LiveRamp.
Ellie Prendergast, Retail Media Sales and Operations Lead at Co-op Media Network and Founder of Women in Retail Media, said: “Since launching Women in Retail Media, we’ve learned so much about the industry and what really matters.
“This year, we’re mixing up the awards scene – entries are completely free because we just want to celebrate the superstars across the whole industry. We’ve designed the awards to be open and inclusive, with a public vote and a panel to make sure we get it right. And having a plus one – means you get to share the night and celebrate all the amazing things you’ve achieved, in work and beyond.
“If women in retail media made awards…”
